To my beloved brother in law, you were so much like your younger brother but so different. You welcomed me into your life and allowed me to ensure you took care of yourself while enjoying your independence. You voluntary entered the rest home after being given a short life span, you proved the doctors wrong by outliving their time given. You were always happy and took each day as it came. Your fur babies always keen to see you and smother you in love dearly miss you as do we. Rest in peace with you family whom have gone before.

I had the pleasure of knowing Richard for a number of years, he was a man who was always quick with wit, a random piece of knowledge and a warm smile. Taking him to get his little car, I thought he'd left me as collateral when he took it for a test drive. He always enjoyed a glass or two of wine when he was round for dinner and he loved on his furbabies Twiggy, Fidget, Beau and Saszi. Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your life my friend. Rest in Peace Richard.

I only had the pleasure of meeting Richard a short time ago but was impressed by his compassion and empathy for others. We had some fun talks especially about his most favourite tipple, a red wine. He always added humour to our conversations. Will miss our little conversations. RIP Richard.
