Sonja was an inspiration with many good qualities that could fill a page. She had an amazing positive and caring nature and gave more than 100% to her passions of family, pets and dance school to name some plus her friends to which I was one. You were one of a kind – a shining bright light that affected many that came into contact with you. May you dance freely now! Love you Sonja
Sonja didn't just teach the kids to dance. She taught them how to smile. She taught them how to be kind. She taught them that they had stamina. She taught them that they could be better than they'd thought. She taught them, mainly by showing them, how to laugh and live. If any of us can influence even a tenth as many lives as positively as Sonja has done, then our lives will have been well spent. What a legacy. *bow* "Thank you Mrs. King" *finish bow*
Goodbye Aunty Sonja...I remember fun school holidays visits with you and Uncle Paul with us having big heart to hearts about any silly thing that came into 10 year old brain, I remember you cutting my hair and giving me the most outrageous mullets the world has ever seen and I remember that you taught me that you can put yoghurt on your ice cream which is a thing I still do now when I want to feel like I'm having dessert but HEALTHY dessert. You were always so fun and had so much energy and sparkle. I'm sad that I won't see you again when I'm next back in New Zealand, but I'm so grateful for the time that we did have with you. Mrs King was a much loved dance teacher, she taught all four of our children, dance. Victoria was the only one to choose to continue ballet throughout her schooling years. Mrs King was a rock to Victoria when she needed it most and when dancing was a struggle to her because of an injury, Mrs King supported her through it. Even though the lesson went over time, when picking them up , you always heard a lot of chatter and laughter. You will be missed but we have wonderful memories, thank you for all you did for our family. Love always the Cole Family of Te Kopuru.
May u rest in peace Sonya Gone but not forgotten from Bob and Karina
