Very sorry to hear of the passing of Aunty Hazel she was a great cook especially her baking and I loved to take my Mum (Phyllis) her sister to see her.. Our thoughts are with you all...

Aunty Hazel you have left a 'gap' in my memories and heart. I loved to come and visit both you and Uncle Jim with my mum Phyllis and when Nana spent her last wonderful years in your care. You are now in the arms of your loved ones that have gone before you. I had wanted to return to Invercargill to pay my respects but unfortunately travel costs are beyond my means. Very sad to see the passing of Aunty Hazel but it nice to see her pass through the pearly gates this was the serious chat between the late Robbie (dad) and Hazel who was going to be first, I'm sure Aunty Hazel will be having cups of tea and cakes with Jim and the wider whanau. Donna and our children Jessica,Sarah and Justina had many lovely visits and fond memories of building stuff with nana,s medicine containers in a room that was near 40 degrees (very red faced) we all adored Aunty Hazel and Uncle Jim We will miss you, you helped us become who we are today. Our deepest sympathy on the passing of Hazel Lorraine Chisolm younger sister to Irene Becroft and brother in law to Norm Becroft*. Aunty to Valerie Johnson, Keith Becroft and Raymond Becroft* from Australia. We always remember our trips to NZ and visiting Aunty Hazel and Uncle Jim*and enjoying all those beautiful home made biscuits and cakes for morning and afternoon teas along with the lovely family chats Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.
