Ross, so sorry to learn of Maree's passing. I hope you and your family are holding up at this sad time. My sincere condolences.
Dear Maree I am grateful to have known you , first as a work mate ,then as a friend. So many good and funny memories flood through my mind since I heard of your passing. There was the famous good-bye do at Naomi Courts when you decided to ring my dad in Luxembourg in the middle of the night to introduce yourself or dressing up as Leprechauns to participate in the Relay for life. You had such a zest for life and you were a doer, a go-getter with an enormous soft heart under a tough shell. You were a dedicated nurse, a bossy boot and a loyal friend who loved all the good things in life. I loved your wicked sense of humour and your outspoken ways -even when you took the piss out of my funny accent and odd turn of sentences. And you had a real gift for writing (and a passion for souvenir shopping) as I found out once you started travelling. I feel honoured that you came 3 times to see me in my tiny homeland. I am glad that you fullfilled your dreams of travelling and discovering the world beyond New Zealand. Dave has some great memories of the French classes you did together - laughing mostly, he said. The last time we met you were off to the Christkindl Market In Nuremberg and to discover the snowy lands of Scandinavia. Today is yet another farewell and it is filled with sadness but it is also a celebration of your life and the joy of having been a little part of it. You are a special person in my life and will always be. Dave and I send our heartfelt condolences to the whole family. Our door is always open to you.

Dear Maree , today you will be laid to rest. I will remember your good work ethic and your love for potato chips. I am greatful to know you. Farewell Maree. Rest in Peace
Thinking of you all tonight Ross and family. Remembering the fishing trips as kid and various hi jinks. Was nice to see a decent fish in the photo. That expression has not changed over the years. Always liked catching the biggest one. Her love and memories will always be precious. Will try and catch up soon and will be online . Far too soon but at least in peace now. Take care
