Hi. We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Gordon. Our family have been connected for three generations now. Your grandfather Stan was a very close friend to my grandfather, Gordon. I have a feeling that Gordon was probably named after my grandfather. My parents were Ivan and Margaret Smith. We seemed to loose touch with Gordon after mum died. My sister is Raewyn who was the flower girl at Marie and Gordon's wedding. We would live to hear from you to keep this long connection going. Sending love. Christine.

RIP Gordon...many years have passed since you were last in Newton Kings on Friday night and I was there to serve you...life is strange but I spent many happy hours walking around your old farm, when some of my family bought it [Steph & Graeme Old and then the grandson Tony & Emma took it over....] my sincere condolences to all the families.. Oh Gran, our hearts are so heavy with sadness. you have some people eagerly waiting for your arrival at Heaven's Gate. They have the jug on; Nanna has done the baking.
