Passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday the 3rd of September 2022, aged 92 years. Dearly beloved wife of the late Peter. Much loved mother to Maria (Mia), Margaret (Margie), and John. Loved Oma to Jaimee, Peter, Robert, Jacob, and Inara. Great Oma to Violet, Ivy, Ezra, Seth, Lilly, Jack, Lydia, and Cora. Very much loved by extended family members, the late Mauri, Ian, Shelley, Kristel, Ian, Lisa, Letitia, and Rory. Betty is survived by five of her fourteen siblings, Tony, Nel, Sien, Dien, and Thea. Betty had a wonderful life and was always ready to help, sow, clean, or garden. Friends are invited to a Requiem Mass to celebrate Betty’s life at St Josephs Catholic Church, Victoria Street, Hawera on Saturday 10th September 2022 at 11:00am after which the funeral will move to the Hawera Cemetery where Betty will be placed with her beloved Peter.
