Maryanne and family, So sorry about your loss. The first time I met Les was at Maryanne’s 21st Birthday party at Mums house in Stratford when he burst into the house like a whirlwind and I thought ‘ what the heck, or something else a bit more sweary. But I now realise that was about 50 years ago so I think to go on and spend the next 50 years together is a triumph. He was a one off, that’s for sure. Both Andy and myself are sorry we can’t be there for you all, but please be aware we are thinking of you all and will miss seeing him when we come over in the new year. I’m sure all the family will make sure you have a great send off for him and we’ll both lift a glass for him tomorrow. Love you all. XXX
