Our thoughts are with you at this time. I have such fond memories of John 💜 he was such a loyal person to know and was a privilege to work with him during my time at Northland College.

Pouri news indeed. John was a special colleague when I worked at Northland College from 2003 to 2010. One of life's gentle men, a rangatira in providing for and wanting the best for our students, the whanau, staff & kura. When I was short of a driver for a Careers Tertiary trip, John was quick to offer his tautoko. He was truly caring, kind, considerate. & immaculate with his presentation & attention to any mahi. He upheld strict standards & protocols because of his faith. Nothing was a problem. He was always Tika, Pono, and a man that showed Aroha to anyone, even if it was a great telling-off, it was because he cared. Thank you John, God has you in his arms. Condolences to the whanau pani and special friends & colleagues. PS Aroha mai, we are in Rarotonga at present and we will miss his tribute service & burial.
It was lovely to get the chance to meet John at Friendship House. Always enjoyed chatting with him. Arohanui to all whanau and friends, he will be missed.
