HARPER, Judith Diane: Passed away peacefully at home on Friday 9 September 2022. Aged 75. Loved daughter of the late Ted and Doris Harper. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Peter Harper (dec) and Deb Richards, Cliff Harper (dec) and Lynne Harper, Merilyn(dec) and George Perry, Graeme Harper and Jane Krammer, Greg Harper, Karen and Duncan Mcluckie. Loved aunty of all her nieces and nephews and their families. A service for Judith will be held at 10 am Saturday 17 September at Shone & Shirley 164 Tahunanui Drive Nelson. Tributes
Judith had a great love for children and was always interested in her friends children, especially those from years ago who she taught at the Richmond Church of Christ Sunday School. Then later she ran many 'Good News' after school clubs for many years. She was an outstandingly good teacher & was loved by all the children.
I taught Judith at Pirongia School in the 1950s. Through the years we have corresponded by email. Last year Judith visited me in Te Awamutu. It was such a surprise and we had a very pleasant afternoon. Judith was so interested in Pirongia and family history. Such a bubbly lady. I see she died peacefully at home. Was it suddenly or was she ill? My sincere sympathy to her family. Ngaire Phillips
