I only met Vincent a few times but he made a real impact. He was very friendly and respectful to everybody. It was very cool that he played the guitar, and I remember when we went to the senior campus for production practice, When a student that I know walked past with a guitar on his back, Vincent said "You play guitar?" When that student said yeah, Vincent said " Oh chur that's so cool." Vincent was a very cool guy and he was nice to everyone and he had a lot of cool hobbies and interests. He was a really nice dude and I looked up to him in Kapa Haka. He was an inspiration and a leader.

Janelle & Nigel my heart breaks for you and your whanau. Vincent was such a respectful, caring young man with so much passion for his Kapa. I loved watching him lead his roopu with so much mana at Polyfest a few weeks ago. He was finally in the position he had been striving for and well and truly deserved. Fly High young man. Kia Kaha
Rest Easy Vincent, biggest condolences to the family, Vincent meant a lot to our youth group and has left a huge gap in our group now. Vincent will be missed dearly.
