Kind & lovely Margaret was often delegated the task of keeping me out of the way when Mum & I visited family in Putaruru. Nanny Henderson would be ill and Mum (A. Doll, Doris) would go up to help nurse her. Margaret & Vic would organise Ray & I with Kim's Game & other 'cub' activities to keep us quiet! Ted was the treasure who married Margaret and who was one of the few linked to the Henderson side, who 'got on' with my father, George Steffert. They both loved racing so we visited Ted & Margaret regularly. Before the wedding, Ted & Margaret drove us out on the rough unsealed roads to the Hydo construction sites where Ted worked and gave us a conducted tour of the new power buildings. Then we went through their new home in the worker's village. Margaret was so proud. We met up often and Margaret & I have always kept in touch visiting whenever possible. Sadly my stint at Morrinsville College came before Margaret & Ted moved there. We shares a love of flowers and craft. I'll miss you very much, Margaret.
Wishing you an awesome journey Margaret. Love and sympathy to your family and friends. Mum (Lynne McInnes) has fond memories of Margaret down in Morrinsville. We had lovely card making sessions. Love from Angela and Lynne
