MUIR, Gerard Fredrick:
Suddenly, on Friday 4 November 2022 aged 56. Adored and much-loved husband of Davina (nee Thompson, Jones). Loved son of the late Frederick and Margaret. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Phillip & Bronwyn, and Shaun & Shelley. Stepfather of Rawiri, and Tame. Poppy of Ivy, and Keenan. Loved by so many.

A service to celebrate Gerard’s life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 174 Lemon Street, New Plymouth on Thursday 10 November 2022 at 10:30am.
For those unable to attend, Gerard’s funeral will be livestreamed via his tribute page.

My love, You told me I was your only family, you told me we would be together no matter what, you told me you never felt this way about anyone else. most of all you told me that I made you the happiest man in the world because I respected you, I had your back. You called me your beautiful wife every morning and you called me the life of your life every night…I will treasure all that we have achieved in this short wonderful years and will take you to my grave. Davina, I knew Ged through work. Thankfully a staff member gave me this link today & I wanted to pay my respects. Davina, I can't even begin to explain the shock of losing Ged. I'm totally thrown by it & I didn't know him as well as you guys did. I know a huge force of life has left us. Take care Davina, my thoughts & goodwill are with you.
