DOWSETT, Shane. Passed away on 9 June 2021, aged 74. A fun-loving family man with a huge heart and appetite for life. A true champion who fought a heroic battle to stay with us all. Too loved to ever be forgotten. Beloved husband and life-long soulmate of Sharon. Adored superstar Dad of Tanya and Kyle. Father in-law to Richard and Trish. Cherished Pop to Brittney, Jackson, Kelsey and Grady and great-grandad to Axton. Beloved brother to Brent and the late Lyndene. Son of Dave and May. Hugely popular with the whole extended family and everyone he met. A proud and passionate Otahuhu Rugby League club legend. We love you Shane, rest in peace. A service to celebrate Shane's life will be held at the Manukau Memorial Gardens Chapel, 361 Puhinui Road, Papatoetoe on Tuesday 15 June at 1.00 pm.
