WATKINSON, Paul. On 5 September 2021. Loved husband, friend, and partner of Sara. Loving father and mentor to James and Oliver, friend to Alice and mate to dog Max. Son of Gerald and Mary Clifford Watkinson. Youngest brother to Jan and Gerald; brother-in-law of Heather, Bobbi, Nick and their families. A giant in the NZ fashion textile industry, Paul mentored many. We will miss his physical presence terribly. Thank you to all who supported Paul over the past years. His close friends who kept his spirits up, Marcus Stone and the Team at Remuera Medical Centre and Mercy Hospice who deserve a huge thank you for their marathon support effort. A private funeral for family and friends (Paul left a list) will be held at Level 2. Donations to Mercy Hospice in Paul's name would be appreciated.
