EDWARDS, Lawrence Hugh (Laurie). Passed away suddenly on 23 November 2021 after recently celebrating his 91st birthday. Beloved husband and co-sport fanatic of Shirley, married for 67 years. Laurie was a cherished husband, father, father-in-law, grandad and great-grandad to: Denise, Sam, Tessa, Dean and Sterling; to Margot, Dave, Tony, Sarah, Grant, Eva, Mikey, Kim and Isla; to Olwen, Andrew and Matthew; to Gilly, Dave, Lucy, Molly and Ella. Laurie, our rock and hero, will be forever remembered for his scratch golf handicap, provincial rugby exploits, croquet prowess, teaching career, generosity to community and dedication to his family.
