READ, Lois Sydney (nee Ryan). Nurse, Captain, Royal NZ Nursing Corp # 202738 Born 9 July 1928. Passed away peacefully on 3 January 2022, aged 93. Beloved wife of the late John. Most loved and treasured mother and mother in law of David and Cathy, Tim and Marina, and Susan and Peter. Loved by her grandchildren Brendon, Justine, Michael, Simone, Melissa, Sofia and Anna, and great grandchildren Olive, Dante, Eva, Bella and Isla. Our thanks to the nurses and staff at Ranfurly Veterans Hospital who cared lovingly for Lois over the last 6 years. A celebration of Lois's life will be held at the Grange Manor Chapel, 400 Dominion Road, Mt Eden on Tuesday 11 January at 11am. Please note that vaccine certificates will be required to attend.
