O’KANE, Sister Louise rsj (Theresa) QSM. On January 25, 2022, died peacefully at Waiatarua Mercy Parklands, Ellerslie. Much loved member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of the Sacred Heart. Loved daughter of the late James and Anne O'Kane. Loved sister of John and Mary (both deceased). Loved aunt to all her nieces, Bev Handisides (deceased), and Maureen Murray, (Hamilton) and their families. May Louise be at peace. Gracious thanks to our healthcare workers at Mercy Parklands and earlier at Mary Mackillop Centre. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Thursday 3 February at 9am, at Mary Mackillop Centre Chapel, 56 Selwyn Ave, Mission Bay, to be followed by interment at St Peter's Church Cemetery in Panguru. A Vigil Service will be held at the above Chapel on Wednesday 2 February at 7pm Due to the Covid-19 'Red Traffic Light' Protection framework there will be a limit of 100 vaccinated people.
