Sister of Dora, Harold, Alan and Grace. Loved wife of Jack for 58 years. Loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother of Martin, Nady, Robin, Yee Ling, Julian, Adrienne; Ivan, Anne, Jessica, Marc, Holly, Charlie, Charlotte, Dan, Sadie, Nick,
Kate, Cole; Roberta, John, Niamh, Rory; Helen, Roni, Tonati. Dynamic shorthand typist who enjoyed many years working for Radio
Broadcasting at 4ZB in Dunedin and 2ZB in Wellington, longstanding member of Wesley Methodist Church and the Auckland Mandolinata Orchestra, and volunteer in the local community. Big fan of intellectual conversation, gardening, crosswords, travel,
reading, and having an impish sense of humour. After a long life well-lived, Elsie will remain strong in our memories. A celebration of Elsie's life will be held at Wesley Methodist Church, 276 Mount Albert Road, Mount Roskill, Auckland, on Monday, 11 July 2022, at 11am.
