Little, Valmai (nee Barnett) born November 17 1930, died peacefully on July 23 2022, at Eden Village. Nurse, midwife, traveller, swimmer, gardener, dog lover and enthusiastic card player. Dearly loved wife of the late Cliff, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Paul and Wendyl, Neil and Angela, step mother and mother-in-law of Cedric and Pam, and Graeme, grandmother of Joel, Alex, Pearl, Daniel and Hannah; Maddie, Hannah and Ella; Craig, Debbie and David; Danielle, Damian and Aimée, great-grandmother of Lila, Emmie and Goldie; Cam, Nic and Josh; Griffin; Mathilde and Camille; Storm. A service will be held at Grange Manor, 400 Dominion Road, Mt Eden on Wednesday July 27 at 1:30pm followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA would be appreciated. Special thanks to all the staff of Eden Village for their compassion and care over Valmai’s time with them.
