ROCCA, Luigi Mario. Passed away peacefully with Dawn by his side on Sunday 7 August 2022, aged 87 years. Luigi fought an incredible battle to stay with Dawn and will now be forever watching over her. A true love story that started on the high seas and was cemented in Italy. Absolute adored father of John and Linda, loved father-in-law of Mandy and Andy. Treasured Nonno of Bianca, Matteus, Valentina, Gabriella, Gemma and Sofia. Dearly loved brother of Franco and wife Marisa. Luigi was loved by many people and will always be remembered smiling and with a twinkle in his eye. "Ciao Luigi, oggi te ne sei andato dalla lontana Nuova Zelanda per un viaggio ancora piu' lontano ... " Special thanks to the community at Lynton Lodge who supported Luigi and Dawn together with love. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 16 August at 2:30pm at Good Shepherd Church, Telford Avenue, Mt Eden. Followed by a private family cremation.
