SHOTTON, Robert Cecil. Normandy Veteran. On the 19th of August 2022, at CHT Halldene, after 98 1/2 years of love, devotion and service. Beloved husband of the late Sonia. Loving step-father of Carole and father-in-law of George. Grandfather of 6 'marvellous' granddaughters and 11 great grandchildren. Loving and respected friend to many. Sincere thanks for the compassion and loving care of all the staff at CHT Halldene. A memorial service for Robert will be held at St Stephens Anglican Church, Whangaparaoa at a later date.
