Died peacefully on Friday 4 November 2022, age 62, surrounded by his family. Deeply loved and loving husband of Amanda, and father of Josh and Brooke. Deeply loved and loving son of Cath and the late Ken, brother of Sue and Carolyn, brother-in-law of Michael, Ed, Fiona and Jeremy, uncle of Cameron and Erynne, Julia and Caleb, Simon and Brooke, Sam and Kate, and Lucy, great-uncle of Sadie, Lola, Freddy, Arlette and Lachlan. You have been deeply loved by all of us and will be forever in our hearts. Thank you to Fraser MacDonald Unit, Ward 68 Auckland City Hospital, and Edmund Hillary Private Hospital for their exceptional care during Ian's illness. A Celebration of Ian's life will be held at Purewa All Saints Chapel, 100-102 Saint Johns Road, Meadowbank, on Friday 11 November at 12 noon.
