Robin and I first met when I was a student teacher at Taieri High School. She found out my Hort qualifications, and then told the principal that she would be taking charge of me. Robin began my teaching career on a strong positive pathway. Robin (and Stan) became life friends, career mentors, gardening buddies, our childrens Dunedin grandparents.. So very grateful to have had Robin in my life. Found out she had died while writing her a Christmas letter. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten by our family.

We were saddened to hear of Aunty Robins death last week. Please accept our condolences and sympathy. Treasure your memories. They are precious now. I have memories of Christmas dinners at Ascog Street, Waitati and our family farm at Waimotu. Our thoughts are with you Love Janice Lyndon Emma and Sarah
