To Richard and family: Our sincere condolences to you all for the loss of a very much loved wife, mother, and grandmother. Sue was one of the best people. She was kind, helpful, quiet, and caring, and she always made you feel welcome. And, as always, Sue was just Sue. We wondered how many children she steered onto the right path with her way of doing things, and we know she will be dearly missed in the classroom. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. We are very sorry we couldn't make it to the service in person but will see you all on the livestream. With love, from Frank Couper and family.

Alot of my memories when I look back on my primary school days had Mrs McGrath in them. From helping us with Road Patrol to being an amazing teacher you could depend on when you asked all the weird questions (she always had a beautiful way at looking at things). My love goes to all her whanau and work colleagues during this tough time. It also goes out to all the students I sat along side of as well as the ones before and after me. She shaped a lot of young minds, mine including. Forever grateful for the memories. Sleep easy miss and continue all your beautiful mahi above. Until I see you again. Much love ❤️

To Richard, Donna and family. Leigh and family, Rod and family, Greg and family, Paul and Loma and family. My heart weighs heavy with the loss of my beautiful cousin Sue, who, as well as being my cousin, was my true friend, who always kept in touch and supported me through the hardest times of my life. We were the best of friends from an early age, stayed at each other's houses during the holidays, cooked toffee at the farm every Guy Fawkes, and spent hours on the phone nearly every evening when we were teenagers! We were bridesmaid/matron of honour for each other's weddings. We could always talk as if we had just talked yesterday,, laughed a lot, spent time with our children together - shared our lives......... I know she was SO brave during her illness and that she was given so much loving care by you all - her family. Take care of each other. If anyone asks how you are, tell them you are doing the best that you can. I am sorry that I can't be with you at this time. I will be there on the live stream. Love Anne.
