An incredibly strong woman - Mot had a drive and passion in everything she did. Amongst many wonderful and extraordinary accomplishments mentioned yesterday in her eulogy, the one I came to appreciate the most recently was her special ability to counsel and listen and reach out…………….My 2 older children benefited from your patience and love and time and missing you so much 💙………….I’m already terribly missing your leadership in the family gatherings ………….💙💜❤️……….. “Moreover, we can’t fully appreciate joyful reunions later without tearful separations now. The only way to take sorrow out of death is to take love out of life.” – Russell M. Nelson………………..Till we meet again dearest Mot💙
A virtuous woman is more precious than rubies Proverbs Chapter 31 10 ¶ Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. 11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. 12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. 13 She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. 14 She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar. 15 She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. 16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. 17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. 18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. 19 She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. 20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. 21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. 22 She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. 23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land. 24 She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. 25 Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. 26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. 27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. 28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. 29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. 30 Favour is deceitful, and abeauty is vain: but a woman that bfeareth the Lord, she shall be praised. 31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates. To the incredible Dunn Family, Sending so much love to you all. We go back a long way now and my first memories of George, Mona and the boys are after you first moved to New Zealand and just hanging out for hours long after Church had finished and hanging out while our parents continued in their Church responsibilities. Brother and Sister Dunn were always amazing examples of service and I remember so often the Dunn family being the first to arrive to Ward activities to set up and the last to leave after packing up. Sister Dunn's legacy continues to live through her children who have lived and learned from her example. Listening to the words shared during the Family Service have further reminded me how awesome Sister Dunn is. As Kevin mentioned, death is only a door and I look forward in due time when after we all have to pass through it, that we can meet, be reunited and enjoy an eternity with our families together and in joy. Much love to you Brother Dunn. Ernest, Ashton, Kevin and Elnathan, to you and your families, we send our love as well. No time, distance or anything else will dull the relationship and memories we have with you all. Till the next time we catch up... Stella, Mckay, Talmage, Elias and Maxwell Burgess (Gisborne, NZ)

To the woman who came to my life for a short time but left a mark in my heart forever 💖. A woman whom I consider my Mother, Today my heart is heavy 💔 Mona you and I connected the very first time we met at Ashlynne Ave Ward! We shared some of the most important milestones in my life. As a newly convert in the Gospel, you were there for me and Siope. You gave me strength to continue to walk in righteousness. I felt your courage through your words of council and testimony each time we talk. You helped me to let go of my fear. You helped me to structure my ideas and reorganise them into making sense. When I entered the Temple for the first time, you and George were there for me, I will always treasure that memory 🙏 regardless of how long we apart physically, when we get together or talk on the phone it's like we never parted because we have established our relationship and for that I'm grateful to Heavenly Father for placing you in my path. You filled that void of not having a mother by my side in my Gospel journey ❤️ We are sending our condolences to George, Christian, Ashton, Kevin and Nathan Dunn for losing the matriarch of the family, a wife a mother and grandmother 💔 This is so hard to write down. I still remember our conversation you told me when you pass, you'd like me to dress you in your temple garments. I LOVE YOU MONA ❤️💔 And to the Yee FAMILY we love you Charlie, Fani, Sariro and Daken for losing a sister, Sister in law and a Aunty. ♥️ We mourn with you and sending this tribute with our love and respect xox We know the plan of salvation is real and if we stay on the covenant path, we will reunite with our families in the next life. Crossing the veil of death is a part of his plan. We look forward to that Glorious morning until we meet again Mona 🙏 'Ofa lahi atu... PRESIDENT FATAI, YVETTE AND OUR CHILDREN ( KEKE & WILL, TONY, DARYL AND KIRTLAND) GRAND CHILDREN EMMETT AND UELENI ❤️❤️♥️♥️
We are so sad that we have to say goodbye to such a lovely lady . It was not long ago I exchanged memories of our childhood days during Thd COVID lock down. I was so happy to have reconnected with Motofaga after such a long break . I was in Seattle and she was in Auckland. She recalled vividly her interactions with our family when she came to Suva from Lautoka. She had sent me a valuable family genealogy that her father had meticulously compiled . It was a long exchange late into the night . Never knew it was to be our last . Vale Motofaga, and Rest In Peace you lovely soul ! From lionel ding sun Yee and Pauline Yee Rosie my sister Jasman my brother Vincent my youngest brother They all remember you
Hi Mum, am super grateful for the life you lived, the sacrifices you made and the love you spread into all our homes. You are our beloved Matriarch that served within our family in an amazing, unforgettable, impactful way. I remember how you cleaned up after me and washed my clothes when I was really sick during pregnancy. You always made me feel comfortable and at home. Our family have been blessed with your time and although we know that families can be together forever, your presence will be greatly missed. Say hello & send our love to all our family and friends who are on the other side. May you feel our love, be at peace and especially pain free. We will help look after Dad for you. Miss you so much and love you forever and always. Love your youngest daughter, Chantelle and our family! xoxox
