Barbara was one of those very special ladies that you meet through your life. As a young Mum at the time, she was welcoming and friendly towards us as we moved into the local community. I got to know her and her family when we lived for a short time on the corner of Durham and Bedford roads. I remember her as a gracious, kind, caring, friendly lady. Sending sympathy and love to all the family at this sad time, Pauline Sutton

Aunty Barbara đź’— I have so many fond memories of Xmas family get togethers at your home. Such a beautiful time full of so many memories that are very dear to me. Such fun was had. Such a wonderful and wise woman who had a heart of gold. You have always been so fondly loved and thought of by myself and my children. Know that you are loved so very much and will missed so much. May your guidance and wisdom stay with us all. Lots of love Sheryl, Renee, Lisa, Jenna and Daniel xxxx

Barbara was such a lovely gracious and caring lady. She was our costume designer for the Norfolk Entertainers and her dressmaking skills were legendary. Us two tall “gals” seemed to be the designated men in the group! What happy memories she has left for us. Please accept mine and Jimmy’s sincere sympathy Rest In Peace Barbara.

Heartbroken to hear the news. Sending you all my love. Some of the best memories of my childhood are with Katy in Barbara & Kens garden or playing cards in the lounge. An amazing lady who will be incredibly missed xxx
