Dearest Sarah, Anthony, Tadhg and Stella - Sam just shared this news with me.. We are deeply saddened to hear that Felix passed away way too soon. I can only but imagine the heights of achievement he would have attained as an adult given how much he had already achieved at such a young age. We remember an energetic, unique and smiling boy who gave his all to the game on the rugby field. Out thoughts are with you today especially. Dear Sarah, Anthony, Tadhg and Stella Unfortunately we are not able to be there in person but we want to let you know we are standing there with you in spirit. Felix death is an untimely tragedy that is hard to comprehend. What we remember about Felix is however is how he inhabited the world with gusto; of him being so full of life, always on the go. His big personality making demands with lively opinions from those around him. How is was connected to those around him and how he stepped into the role of big brother to Tadhg and Stella joining the rough and tumble but always with love. Felix will be missed. Briar and Odette

I'm still in shock to hear of Felix's death. My heart goes out to Sarah, Anthony and all the whanau. Felix joined our programme from 2018-19 and I took an instant liking to him. He had a sharp mind who loved to challenge ideas and push boundaries, with a fierce competitiveness that made him a determined and strong personality. His passion for sport knew no bounds, and it's no surprise to me that he was so active with it in the years since. As we spent more time together, his deeply caring & considerate nature became obvious and probably the main thing I remember him for. What a wonderful character. It's an absolute tragedy to be taken so young.

Felix, I had the pleasure of getting to know you as manager of a water polo team you played in. I loved your enthusiasm and admired your resilience. Invariably you had an idea you wanted to try, and you persevered with the idea even if others doubted it. That was a quality that was going to take you far. I also enjoyed how you easily engaged in discussion with a confidence and thoughtfulness that is rare in teenage boys. I’ll really miss your presence pool-side.

Jamie Norwell

Felix, what a joy and inspiration you were to coach over your time at Sea Wolf. You were a constant source of enthusiasm with your unwavering dedication in the pool and with the twinkle of mischief in your eye never far away. It was an absolute pleasure to have been able to know you and the weekly laughs and conversations we shared pool side before trainings will be sorely missed and deeply cherished.

Felix, you were the most enthusiastic student in the House. So incredibly keen to be part of every team, every activity, every conversation and every bit of mischief. We will miss your constant laughter, your irrepressible energy and your friendly, outgoing, boisterous presence in Marsden.
