Annie Goh Lee Huat was a caring wife, mother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt and friend. She left this world peacefully on December 13, 2022 at age 75.
Annie was born in Malaysia on May 2, 1947. She trained as a nurse in the UK, and migrated to New Zealand with her family in 1987. She was married to Tee Kock Beng for 40 years until his passing in 2015. Together, they had two children, Andrew and Jennifer.
Annie worked as a midwife until her retirement in 2008. She loved listening to music, reading, attending church, and spending time with family and friends.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2.30pm (New Zealand time) on December 18, 2022. This is 9.30am Malaysian time.

I worked with Annie for many years both in the community and in the High Risk team when she used to interpret and teach our Asian mothers who had developed Diabetes in their pregnancies. She was an excellent Midwife and provided very good care to our mothers and we were all worse off when she retired back to Malaysia. When she returned from Malaysia she had recently been diagnosed with her end life illness and it was sad to see her deteriorate over the next few years . I will miss my old friend but happy she is now at peace and I am so sorry I am unable to attend her funeral service today. My condolences to the family who looked after her so well Deborah Lawton
