Joanna Leigh Williamson 1969 – 2022

Joanna passed away peacefully at her family home on 19th December 2022. She was a magnificent woman, mother, wife, daughter, friend and confidant to many. Joanna and Stephen, her husband, have shared a lifetime of love and friendship together and raised two daughters Analeigh and Lilian who will hold their mother close for evermore. Very much-loved daughter of Diane and Malcolm and sister to Brad. Joanna was adored by all her family and friends and revered each in return. As an educator, Joanna was a valued colleague to those that were lucky enough to work with her. He knowledge and insight are well appreciated and respected within the Early Childhood Education sphere. 

 As a family, our love goes out to all who knew Joanna and supported her and our family over the seven years of her illness. She showed courage and tenacity throughout this time and rather than submit to her cancer she fought bravely every step of the way, dealing with successive setbacks in turn. Ultimately parting from this life on her terms and having found peace in this world. As a family we are grateful for this gift from her.
