Barbara, loving wife of James (deceased), mother of Nichola and Bradley, Nanna of Lara, James, Ryan, Noah, Georgia, James and Great grandmother of Eva-Marie and Fletcher passed peacefully on 31/12/2022.
There are so many words to describe Barbara, she was fun loving, adventurous, smart, cheeky, caring, loving and kind. She loved life and lived it to the fullest always active and involved in her community and most of all loving her family of which she was so immensely proud. In her later years she was unfortunately burdened by dementia which slowly robbed her of the zest we had always seen. She will be so greatly missed by all her family across the globe, we will hold her in our hearts and continue to make her proud.
Any donations made to the dementia research foundation in your home country in Barbara’s name would be greatly appreciated. Bon Voyage to our beautiful mum, you were amazing.
A private cremation will be held on Wednesday 5 January at 11:00am

Auntie Barbara was an Auntie who was always “ good fun”, , we were lucky to have her spend a few years living in England near us when I was a young girl and then she would often visit her Mum, my Nanny, before she passed away in 2000. Auntie Barbara always saw the good in people and the fun side of life, she was a breath of fresh air and an inspiration to us all to be kind and thoughtful people. She lived for family ❤️ Even though she lived so many thousands of miles away from us, she will be sadly missed. Auntie Barbara was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, sister, auntie, niece, cousin, Nana, great Nana, mother in law, sister in law…she was everything. RIP my dear Auntie xxx
