Peacefully at Taranaki Base Hospital surrounded by family on Monday January 2, 2023.
Husband of Jill for 59 years. Father and father-in-law of Peter and Angela, Trevor and Vanessa, and Rodney and Kristen. Grandad of Jayden, Liam, Paris, Marcus, Lucy, and Macy. Brother of Denis, Janet (dec), and Joy. Brother-in-law of Cliff.

A service to celebrate Roger’s life will be held at Tukapa Rugby and Sports Club, Gladstone Road, New Plymouth on Friday January 6, 2023, at 1.00pm followed by a private cremation.

Have just returned from holiday and was deeply saddened to hear of Rogers passing. Deepest sympathy to Jill and all the family. Spadge will be warmly remembered for his passion and involvement in sport
Saddened to hear of Spadges passing. Great Tukapa and NP/Marist United man. Always enjoyed listening to Spadges stories over a beer and all his advice on left arm bowling. Working in Brisbane today but will take a moment this morning to remember Spadge and will certainly raise a beer for him tonight. Sending love to Jill, Pete, Trevor, Rodney, and families. RIP Spadge.
