Tributes

My Brother-in-Law Alan, or Alan Kor-Kor as I fondly call him, is a wonderful man, a loving father to his children Karen, Laureen and Arthur, a caring husband to my sister Corina and a doting grandfather to Matthew, Chloe and Aidan. Not forgetting a good father-in-law to Vincent and Ann. To my dear sister Corina, we mourn the loss of Alan Kor-Kor but at the same time, we cherish our time with him and we shall always hold onto our fond memories of him. Alan Kor-Kor is now resting in peace.. Stay strong sis Corina and my wonderful nieces Karen & Laureen and nephew Arthur as this is what Alan Kor-Kor wishes you all to be.

When my brother Vincent married Karen, Alan and Corina and family became connected to us by marriage. We met up at Vincent and Karen's wedding, at Arthur and Ann's wedding dinner and the visits they paid to my late mom and I on their trips back from NZ. Uncle Alan was always cheerful and friendly a gentleman. In the last few weeks when he was hospitalised, Vincent updated my sister and I of his health status. We prayed for Uncle Alan to experience God's love and peace to sustain him with strength to endure his medical challenges. We joined in Corina,Karen, Laureen and Arthur's emotional roller-coaster ride through Vincent's promising reports on some days and our hearts dropped at news of dramatic moments Uncle Alan faced. From the updates, we marvelled at how he remained positive and resilient, resolutely battling on to face each new day, till the end. What a testimony of a strong character to his loving and devoted family who were by his side every day. My deepest sympathy to all in the family. May you take comfort that his sufferings has ended. May he Rest In Peace! Regards, Teresa
