Funeral service held at Central Park Chapel, Davis Funerals
It was an honour to have associated with Sithamparanathan uncle over several decades. More than anything else i want to acknowledge that i was inspired by his zest and energy for life. I remember about 25 years ago when i was a reckless young man taking him on a motor bike ride to a farm. I rode like one possessed at a very high speed. When i got off i felt that i hadnt been sensitive to an elderly person behind me. But he was all smiles and he said that he enjoyed the ride! I was blown away by his self reliance and confidence in himself to travel all alone across the world to be in Tiruvannamalai, just a few years ago, carrying his own bags, using public transport. He continued playing tennis into his eighties! He was always full of ideas for the next project. Now as a person in my fifties i would like to have at least a part of the energy and zest that uncle had in the time left for me left in the planet. May his soul rest in peace. My heartfelt condolences to his family.
As a very close relative and having known him for decades of Dr Jeremiah Sithamparanathan, I may state with pardonable pride that he was an eternal scholar with a high IQ. Owing yo his high qualifications, he was able to work worldwide. He owned honesty, integrity, simplicity and wisdom. He was the author of a book based on spirituality and science where he exhibited advanced knowledge of physics. May his soul Rest In Peace. - Thevy
Honour unto whom honour is due. Dr. Jeremiah Sithamparanathan held a doctoral degree and worked for the UN and other academic institutions like universities. He was exceptionally good at English which helped him to pen a world-class book on spiritualism. He displayed in-depth knowledge of modern physics in his book. He was the embodiment of honesty, integrity, straightforwardness and genuineness. Although he was qualified in science , his knowledge of global politics and history was outstanding. Nowadays, it is hard to find people of his calibre. The planet has lost a great gentleman. May his Soul Rest In Peace.
