PERIGO, Leomay (Baba): Of Feilding and latterly of Julia Wallace Retirement Village, Palmerston North. The most extraordinary person that was Baba passed away on Boxing day in Palmerston North Hospital aged 92. She suffered a stroke 10 days prior in her much loved apartment at Julia Wallace. Loved wife of George (dec 2000). Special mum, nana, great nana, aunty, friend. A strong willed, independent, physically and mentally fit amazing person until her stroke. A swimmer, baby bootie knitter, fundraiser, organiser, secretary, coach and many other things throughout her 92 years. As per her strong desire she has been privately cremated with no fuss or BS. We thank the team of devoted people at Palmerston North Hospital A&E, Ward 26 and STAR 2 for their care of Baba and her family throughout the 10 distressing days of her illness and passing.
