WRIGHT Robert Stanley (Bob): Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones at Trinity Home and Hospital Hawera on Monday 9th January 2023, aged 85 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Helma. Loved and treasured father and father-in-law of Therese, and Roberta & Alan Murray. Loving Grandad to Mark & Kelly, Rachel & Mncedisi; Nicole & Richard, and Stephanie & Ben. Great Grandad of Henry; and Lincoln. Loved brother of Emil (Dec), Greta (Dec), George (Dec), Dennis (England), and June (Hawera). Messages may be sent to the Wright family C/- Hardings PO Box 605 Hawera 4640. A Requiem Mass will be held for Bob at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Victoria Street Hawera on Friday 13th January 2023, commencing at 11am. Followed by a private committal.

Bob was such a lovely brother and person to know Dennis has many happy memories with Bob on the farm. When Dennis started school in 1948 Bob used to take Dennis to school on the back of his bike on a carrier and Dennis feet got caught in the spokes,and Bob used to sing going along on the bike when she was only 7 she died and went to heaven that little sister of mine we used to play together in all the stormy weather but now my sisters gone though the years pass by in the valley he can’t remember the rest of the song our condolences to the family Dennis and Mary wright
