Funeral service held at Dil's Funeral Services
That was a lovely service. Been in Australia for 25 years and have shared the wonderful story of Malcom and Brenda’s love of family to many new friends over the years. Love never dies 🌻
Brenda I am blessed that our paths crossed. You are such an amazing woman with a heart of gold. Your and Malcolm's relationship is such one I admired. The world is a better place for having had you in it. RIL beautiful lady
Brenda you are one fantastic lady. You have always been there for Indie and I, from the moment I was pregnant with Indie you always said anything you need anytime just come here. You have always been there for Indie and I with open arms, genuine, with love, without judgement, welcoming always with your massive kind heart. You always check in on us with messages and I love you for that. You have always included us in your family when we haven't had our own which meant the world to us. We loved coming for hair cuts, cuppas and chats. We will miss you so much. Love Karen and Indie
Brenda always believed in the potential of people if they were loved & supported. Brenda was incredibly generous of spirit, love & energy, she was resilient, hardy & strong, funny & vibrant x & her amazing husband, Malcolm, made a great team being such anchors for so many. Brenda is not gone. Her body has passed, but she will be everywhere in everything… She will be in bird chatter deep in forests. She’ll be the vibrancy & colour & innocence of butterflies flitting around from flower to flower. She will be in a stranger’s genuine smile, children’s laughter & music you hear from a distance as people celebrate together. She will show up in earthy, home cooked meals, & she’ll also make appearances in billowing floral dresses. She will be in sunsets & sunrises, in clouds & the ocean, in flowers & forests & she be in every beach. She will be everywhere alongside you Ronan, in life seeing as you look, as you live. So live for her. Live, laugh, love & learn through & for her. It’s all she ever wanted for you. And pay her love forward whenever you can. Express yourself, take care of yourself, love yourself for her. Give her the greatest gift she could ever hope to receive: Live a life that not only she could be proud of for you, but a life YOU can be proud of for yourself. Never compromise your values, Fight for what is right & protect others who need protection, just like she did. Sending you, Malcolm & all your family Arohanui. Absolutely, be sad for the loss of her. But make sure you celebrate her too. She was a shining light…a beautiful, bright illuminating light. Arohanui, Arohanui, Arohanui 💓💓💓
Deepest sympathy to you all. Brenda was a good friend as a toddler and also through primary and high school and I have many fond memories. It was so lovely to catch up with her again last year after 50 years apart. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Will watch service tomorrow. Sending much love
