Thank you for a wonderful tribute to Aunty Ann. It was lovely to hear about her incredible connection to the Red Cross, her family and friends. I am now in search of a G & T group! It was special to be able to chat to her recently and I am grateful for this. It would have been amazing to be there in person but I felt very connected to everyone through the video link. Fraser, Stuart, Fiona and Karen - my sister Karin and I were saddened to hear of your mother Anne's passing a couple of days ago. Although our mum and dad (Bunny and Don) passed quite a while ago, the memory of their very strong friendship with Anne and Tom remains fresh. They were old mates from the Palmerston North Operatic Society days and caried that on when both families moved to Auckland. Aner and Tom were frequent visitors to the Jenkin family home and vice versa. We both have very fond memories of those very happy times. We trust all goes well on Friday and are sorry neither of us can be there with you. Once again please accept our condolences - Brent Jenkin and Karin Christie
