Beloved wife of Joseph Richards, Mother of Martin, Peter, Shona, Trevor, Heather and karon. Grandmother and great-grandmother to 19. Much loved by all her whanau, our hearts are broken. A celebration of Doreen’s life at simplicity at 10.30 Tuesday, the 24th of January. Followed by burial at Newstead cemetery.

We wish to pay tribute to Doreen Martin Richards on behalf of our Mum who spotted Doreen's death notice in the NZ Herald yesterday. My mum is Ngawaina Melbourne nee Kohi. She and her sister Grace were very dear friends of Doreen especially during their time in the Otorohanga area many years ago. My Mum is the one pictured with Doreen in the dark dress and Grace is with her in the other photos. Doreen was also bridesmaid at Grace's wedding. Although Mum was unable to attend the service please pass on our condolences to the whanau of Doreen and do hope they enjoy these photos. Nga mihi kia koutou Hiraina Melbourne
