Lovely farewell to your Mum Karen, she would be so proud of how brave you all were. Stay strong. Thinking of you & your family. Rest easy Heather, reunited with Noel 🙏🙏
So so sorry Karen, your Mum was a lovely lady, I have very fond memories of her when we were growing up. She absolutely idolised you & was such a strong determined woman who didn't suffer fools gladly. My heart goes out to you & your family at this saddest of times. You are in our thoughts & prayers Much love from Debra & Emma Yorkshire (UK)
Such a lovely lady and great neighbour. May you rest in peace Heather, and from our chats I know you'll be happy to be again with your soul mate Noel. xxx
Dear Heather, you were a true Yorkshire lass, never mincing your words, telling it straight and giving your opinion while standing before the world as you protected your family and those you love. You opened your home for us and gave us a beautiful place to stay. You welcomed us, cared for us , fed us and even did our laundry! May you Rise in glory and RIP with Noel at your side for eternityGod bless you, sweet dreams All our luv n hugs Pauline and Alan xx
Dear Heather I only got to know you in New Zealand and more so after your beloved Noel died. Always a classy lady I loved your sense of humour and your no nonsense approach to people. You loved your fish and chips and of course your mushy peas. I am so glad you are now at peace and reunited with Noel. Rest easy I will miss you. Xxx
We first met you Heather when our son introduced us to yourself and Noel almost 16 years ago. I remember you both taking us to Sun World and also going to the club. You always had an answer for anybody , one in particuar I remember was ( plaster !!! I have put paint on thicker) THis was one of many. We are going to miss taking you out Wednesday afternoons, looks like we will have to go to the Stumble Inn on our own. Whilst we were out you always gave me a bit of stick but I think underneath that you cared for us a little. Going to miss you Heather love and best wishes R.I.P. Eric , Renee and not forgeting your friend Lilly. xxx
It was my pleasure to look after you when you were at coronation lodge rest home. I will miss your cheekyness. We will forever miss you sweets xoxox
Well Heather we are going to miss you. We first met just short of 16 years ago when our son Ian introduced us to yourself and Noel just after arriving in New Zealand. We are going to miss your quick fired answers like ( Plaster !!! I have put paint on thicker ) there were so many never ever stuck for a word or maybe even two or three. You used to give me a bit of stick but I think underneath you cared for me / us. We have never known anyone that could eat like you , you could have been a world beater. We met you and Noel in town one day and you told us where to get blue peas then said got to go we are parked on the gold card. You then explained what it was and how to get one . That is how we now have a gold card. We are going to miss our Wednesday afternoon out with you , we will have to go to the Stumble Inn and have a drink for you. Thinking of you Heather and all the good laughs we had with you. Love from us and Lilly too xxx.
Well my friend you waited a few years but at last you and Noel will be together again. What a wonderful lady and I am so proud to have known you as a friend, though. Now what am I supposed to do and who shall I talk to about such lofty topics as, where to buy the best Pork pies and which shop to visit to purchase marrow fat peas to cook up mushy peas. I shall forever shed a tear when channel hopping when Jones’s pops up on TV. Be at peace my friend, forever in my thoughts. X
Well my friend, you waited a good few years but at last you and Noel are together again. Bless you both. On a more serious note who am I going to have in-depth conversations with now with regards to important matters. You know, like where to buy the best Pork pies and which marrow fat peas to purchase to make wonderful mushy peas. It won’t be the same watching the Jones’s channel without you. Be at peace, you will be sadly missed.
