Tributes

My love, respect and condolences to the family, and all who knew Michael. Michael and his whole class are very special to me, even more so as my first class, I always considered Michael and his peers as friends. I remember having a lot of very good chats and good laughs. Fondly I think too of repeated advice I would give to him in class on variety, I would suggest to explore and try something other than mechs and hard surface designs, in 3D class, but he repeatedly won me over with his excellent concepts, and i'm glad he did as he excelled here. He had a great talent for his passion, and stuck to his guns to create excellent art. I'm very proud of him the person he was the way he supported his peers and the artwork he created. He made games with meaning and thought, and his game 'Life' fits particularly well with this trait. I also remember him winning against me and the rest of the class at most (if not all!) of the old console games we used to lug out in games studies classes which was brilliant, he was the teacher in this respect. I feel I learnt a lot from him and as a new teacher it was an honor to have a level headed Friend in the class to offer support. My upmost respect Michael and my deepest condolences Shikah, family and friends, my heart is broken and I regret not being able to attend in person today. You all spoke beautifully of him and I think he would be very proud.
