Tributes

Pat, reading Mike's tribute made me smile - I could just imagine you up there on stage, redefining what it was to be a Man in Stratford...yes, that sounds just like you! Hearing Caroline, Stef and Sharon's stories of your farm years and knowing you and Bruce at '93. All the fun you guys had & the challenges you faced and kept on going. Your kids sure ARE a tribute to you both & no doubt your grandchildren will be too. I'm so grateful to know your beautiful family. You will always be in our hearts xxx

I remember the Robinson's as a teenager when I lived in Stratford. Aside from the fact that one day the whole school went to see a play in Eltham and there was Julian's mum up on the stage, which is hard enough, but she was playing a MAN, which I thought was just incredible, Pat and Bruce treated us kids with nothing but courtesy and respect and were very approachable. They had an amazing x factor about them. I'm not into summing up people with one word, but if I had to that word would be "Cool". Thanks for making that time in my life one where I can look back with fond memories.

Pat. We remember fabulous times at 93 By the Sea and the Huapai country club. You always provided such a fabulous environment for our NZ holidays. We have many happy memories. It was beautiful looking at the photos of your past and remembering your sense of fun and occasion. Thank you for welcoming me into your family. I will forever remember the massive bear hug with which you greeted me the first time we met at 93. I remember when you met Xavier, visiting Cesky Krumlov, Xavier being carried in a sling. Zac you met in Melbourne. Your fabulous family are a tribute to you. Family occasions will be different now, but I look forward to catching up with with Stef, Dean, Saphira, Adrian, Emma, Isaac, Jonty and Nell

I've just watched the live stream of Pat's funeral. Beautiful and heartbreaking. Love to Stefanie, Julian, Adrian, and all the whanau. Stefanie, you look just as I remember your mum back in the 70s and 80s when we were at 1 Pembroke Road. Thinking of you all. Steve Palmer.

My second mother to my second family leaving us is a sad day indeed. The love and support to the Palmers provided by both Pat and Bruce will be remembered and cherished for as long as we all live. A fantastic woman, friend, confidant and carer to all. God bless. Miles and Emma.
