Peacefully at Summerset Mountain View, New Plymouth on Tuesday 24 January 2023, aged 95.
Dearly loved husband of Antje, and Maria (both deceased).
Loved Dad of Mia and Gavin Midgley, Dick and Sharon, Peter and Sue, and Andy and Deb.
Cherished Opa of Douglas, Amelia and Massimo, Reuben, and Jacinda; Renee, Louise, and Jay.

A service to celebrate Taco’s life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 174 Lemon Street, New Plymouth on Monday 30 January 2023 at 10.30am followed by a private cremation.

To Dick and Family - thinking of you all - I remember when your dad tried to get your attention in Victoria Station as I was pulling on the back of your shirt to get you to turn around - and look down - May your dad rest in peace xxxx
While we may not be able to be there in person, we are with you in spirit. I was blessed to see Opa one last time in the few weeks before his passing and those moments will cherish forever.
