POINGDESTRE: Tricia Taku: January 7th 1948 (Te Kuiti) – January 26th, 2023 (Hawera). Passed away peacefully after a long illness, surrounded by her family. Treasured daughter of Matekiro and June Te Riaki Roa. Beloved “Maori Princess” of Noel.  Cherished mother and best friend of Tami and Anthony, Shane and Marise, Ra-Maree and Layton. Amazing and most loved Nana and adored Great Nana Taku to all her mokopuna. Beautiful sister to her 10 siblings. Fabulous and glamorous cousin and aunt to many. In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a special place that no one else will fill. Moe mai raa e Taku, i tou meonga roa. A farewell service will be held at the Taranaki Crematorium, Junction Rd New Plymouth at 11am on Monday, 30th January 2023.  A delayed recording of Taku's service will be available on her tribute page Monday afternoon.
