POINGDESTRE: Noel Gordon: June 29th 1948 (Kaponga) – February 5th 2023 (Hawera). After a short illness and only 9 days later, Noel joined his Maori Princess, wife Taku. Cherished father and best friend of Tami and Anthony, Shane and Marise, Ra-Maree and Layton. most loved “Grumpy Grandad” and adored Great Grandad to all his grandchildren. Loved son of the late Neville and Connie, and a very much loved brother and uncle. In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a special place that no one else will fill. Moe mai raa e Noel, I tou meonga roa. A farewell service will be held at the Taranaki Crematorium, New Plymouth at 1pm on Thursday 9th February 2023.

I would like to offer my sincere condolences to Noel’s family at this very sad time. I was very sad to hear of Noel’s passing. I had the pleasure to work with Noel on the Roy hill project in Western Australia in 2014. Noel was a great bloke to work with. During this time I became good friends with Noel, sometimes on a break me and my wife Sue would catch up with Noel and Taku, nice memories. I was privileged to have known and to become friends Noel. RIP Noel.
Uncle Noel you will missed terribly I remember the times I use stay with you and Aunty Taku Tami Shane and Ra I feel your pain and love you all darling ❤️ ♥️ 😘
