OH, Richard Way Min - suddenly as a result of an accident in Mangaweka on Saturday 11th February 2023, aged 42. Dearly loved eldest son of Trish and Philip (Hamilton). Dearly loved husband of Janice Tay-Oh. Dearly loved father of Xavier, Alex, Brianna, Summer, Jaedon and Baby Asher, and stepfather of Matty. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Rebecca and Darren Reader, Stephen and Julia, Sarah and Steven Miller, and Jono and Abby. Loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews. A time of farewell will be held at Rosewood 415 Queen Street Masterton on Wednesday 15th February at 10.30am prior to Richard travelling to Hamilton for his funeral service. The service in Hamilton will be at the Freedom Christian Church, 3 Clow Place, Melville, Hamilton on Friday 17th February at 11.00am followed by cremation. We have many happy memories of Richard when we think of him. The broad smile in his face was there since he was a baby. We are very saddened by his tragic and sudden passing. Surely I and my family will miss him. We know that he is now safe in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We will meet again in heaven (John 11:25), Richard, rest in peace. We love you always, Second Uncle (Jee Pek) and family.
He is a child of the Lord, and was sent to this world by the Lord for a mission and a purpose. He suffered together with the Lord in this world to get the mission and purpose done. And successfully completed them for the Lord with flying colors !... And the Lord has now called him home... He is now nestling in the safety and comfort of the Lord's bosom under the Lord's protection. Rest in peace. In Him. Amen.
