Passed away suddenly on 11 February 2023 at Whangapoua. Devoted husband of 59 years to Wendy. Adored Dad and father-in-law to Beth and David; Nina and Matt. Loved Grandpa and Poppa of Izzy, Rory and Rosie, and treasured uncle to Ben and Nick, Vivienne, Cheryl and Debbie. He left us far too soon, and without the chance to say goodbye, but he will be with his twin brother Graham now, swapping stories about fishing trips and drinking good red wine. A service for Rex will be held at All Saints Chapel, Purewa Crematorium, 100 St Johns Road, Meadowbank on Monday 20 February 2023 at 12 noon. A livestream is available through the link below. Rex was a much loved man a husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and a dad to his much loved dog. We only met at Nina's wedding but it was a lovely meeting at a very happy occasion. Rex lived a good life and he will be greatly missed. Jan
Our deepest condolences to Wendy, wha nau and friends on the sad passing of Rex. We will miss the ever smiling face of the little fella at the BBYC. Your passing was totally unexpected and caught many out by surprise.
