You keep popping into my mind since you passed old friend. Apart from our death-defying shared experiences when we were young bucks, it’s incidental things that I remember like your love of Farmers Union Iced Coffee & Nippys Lemon Juice & Barossa reds & pasties from the Central Market & cranking your stereo after a late night on the turps. I never made it over the ditch to visit you for several reasons & now it won’t happen, ever. See you on the other side pal.
The Gash! That mo, that smile and ridiculous sense of humour. What you didn't know about Hi-Fi wasn't worth knowing. The pranks on the showroom floor and friendly paybacks were priceless. Enjoy the next album in your journey Mike. My only regret is never having the pleasure of meeting your beautiful family. Nonetheless, I send my love and strength across the ditch from mine to yours.
Great memories of a good friend. Always had some news via Andre. Sad to lose him. Ilona
Don’t think of him as gone away His journey’s just begun Life holds so many facets This earth is only one. Just think of him as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years. Think how he must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away. And think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched… for nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved so much❤️
RIP Mike, Thanks for the good yarns and advice over the last few years.
Mike was a "Wilder" young man from Adelaide, on a big motor bike, with a big smile, big dreams and passion for Music and the Audio industry. 🙂 His positive energy, engaging style, curiosity and learning new things, made him a successful business man in the Audio industry 👍😁 When we spoke Mike would always say how proud he was of Yuri, Reiko and William. Mike absolutely loved ❤ his family life - including The Dog they had to get Luxey 😁💕 "Yuri's done a fantastic job raising the kids and putting up with me, and growing her own business, all patiently and kindly and successfully too 🙂. I don't know how she's done it 🙂" Proud of William and Reiko of their Studies and Martial Arts, and what great young people they've become 👏 💜🙂 His family made his life a better one everyday ❤ He loves them dearly. His family was his greatest success and most treasured 🙂❤❤❤. See you on the other side The Original Handsome Man from Adelaide xxx Kate and Helen
Thank you Michael for your energy and zest for life, which you shared with all you knew. My huge condolences to your family who mourn that your life story was shorter than deserved; you certainly packed it with unforgettable experiences and your memories will live on XXXX
Michael was such a great friend back in the seventies, one of my closest actually. He was a groomsman at my wedding and we got up to quite a few little adventures together. It was me who got him into the Hi Fi world , one which he dedicated the rest of his life to. Far from being a butcher when i first him. Michael you will be seriously missed. Love you mate ..David
Hey Mike. Glad you are resting now. Going to miss times together enjoying music and talking shop. Stu
What a tragic loss we all woke up to Saturday morning. Our hearts and feelings go out to your lovely family. Please accept Jenny’s and my sincere condolences. For decades we had so much in common. The many overseas trips we did together still brings a smile to our faces. You were one of the AV industry’s real legends and will be greatly missed. But amid the sadness there is hope. We look forward to see you again in the earthly paradise with the youth and vigour we remember you had. Psalms 37:29. John 5:28,29. In the meantime RIP in God’s memory. From your friends in Melbourne.
I worked with Mike for many years, my visits to New Zealand made better by his friendship, knowledge and passion. Whenever he attended Distributor meetings his contribution always made the meeting more valuable. Rest in peace - except for the music!
No words can describe how sorry we are for your loss. However, you are in our memory forever. Our condolences go to the whole family. Thank you for everything, Mike!! Rest in peace.
Today we celebrate the life of a true Aussie and NZ electronic music Icon. In my 35 years in the industry I have never met such a knowledgeable and trustworthy bloke.. Taken too soon Mike RIP Dave
I don’t know what to say. I’m so sorry to hear about Michael‘s passing. He was a very kind and nice person. I always thought your family was nice and friendly. I can’t imagine what you’re going through. May he soul rest in peace.
In memory of Mike. Thank you for the great relationship that we've built up over the last 12 years. Gone too soon, we'll miss your cheeky grin, awesome sense of humour, wit and your hand in the lolly jar every time you were here............. Condolences to Yuriko and the family. Rest In Peace Mike Robert
