Liz and family We were both extremely sadden to read of Dave's death a very Clever Gentleman with a great sense of Humour his loss will be felt by many. Our deepest sympathy to you all. Kay and Garry Klenner Kaiapoi.
It was my honour to have worked with Dave at NZAS for many years. I always found him a font of knowledge and always happy to pass on his vast experience. He had a wonderful cheeky humour, which a lot of people who didn't know him that well thought he was a grumpy old bugger. Far from it and I feel a great sense of loss of a wonderful workmate. R.I.P my friend. Condolences to family.
Dear Elizabeth. My deepest condolences to you. I so enjoyed my visits with you both. I feel I've lost a connection not only with Invercargill but especially NZAS during and after the time David and I both worked there. I will be sure to catch up with you next time I'm on that side of the ditch and in the meantime, rest assured that you will be in my thoughts.
Always enjoyed working with Dave. I had total respect for his knowledge and experience and I think somehow we usually found a solution to any challenges put in front of us. Condolences to family
Hi, Liz & family. Sorry to hear of Dave's Passing. We have wonderful memories going way back, for Marg, from North School days, and me, from apprentice days at Melhop's on to Tiwai Piont. Sorry we can't be with you tomorrow, but our thoughts will be. Love from Marg & Al.
one of the most interesting people I’ve ever met, always gave me time to explain a technical solution. My late mum earned her pocket money taking him out as a baby for ‘airing’
Liz and family. So sorry to read of David’s passing. He was such a lovely happy smiley man. Used to love catching up with you both at Janet and Mervyn’s. We used to get up to some good high jinks. Thinking of you all. Lots of love.
