It was my honour to have worked with Dave at NZAS for many years. I always found him a font of knowledge and always happy to pass on his vast experience. He had a wonderful cheeky humour, which a lot of people who didn't know him that well thought he was a grumpy old bugger. Far from it and I feel a great sense of loss of a wonderful workmate. Dear Elizabeth. My deepest condolences to you. I so enjoyed my visits with you both. I feel I've lost a connection not only with Invercargill but especially NZAS during and after the time David and I both worked there. I will be sure to catch up with you next time I'm on that side of the ditch and in the meantime, rest assured that you will be in my thoughts.
