My heartfelt condolences to Murray, Emma , Chloe and the rest of Sharon's families. I was shocked to hear of Sharon's death - far too early in her life, and depriving her of that more relaxing period of life she so richly deserved after the dedication and commitment she clearly gave to both her family and career. The beautiful tributes given at the funeral by Murray, Emma and Chloe clearly showed the love she spread within her family and showed the huge gap in their lives that will remain. As a colleague, Sharon was simply top-notch. She was extremely professional in every aspect of her work, showing incredible respect to her co-workers and her customers. One of Sharon's many talents was an amazing degree of tolerance she could draw on when things got tough - a common factor of the large and complex projects she was involved in. I can attest to many of her famous "eye-rolls" when a customer would present her with an unrealistic expectation, or a co-worker would overlook an important task, yet she always managed to bring things back on track, while maintaining everyone's dignity. Sharon was excellent at seeing things through to completion - she often took over projects I had kicked off, tidying up the loose threads I'd leave in my wake, with Sharon assuaging customer concerns, and ensuring that the outcomes delivered a realistic subset of the benefits expected. She was particularly adept at helping customers transition from their initial position of unrealistic expectations to a calm level of pragmatism and acceptance of the practical limits in what could be achieved within the constraints of time and budget. . Sharon was one of our heroes at Certus, and it is clear that she was a hero to many others in her life, in particular to her siblings and to Murray, Emma and Chloe. We need more heroes like Sharon in our lives and in our world. So very glad to have known her as a colleague and friend, so very sad she is gone, and way too soon.
Easily the nicest person I have ever worked with. So much knowledge and wonderful and warm . I am privileged and very lucky to have had her as a friend - she will be missed by many and for many reasons. My love to her family
