Hi uncle Mel. It is so sad to see you go. I miss seeing you make wooden toys. Your wood working skill was amazing. And the stories you use to tell us. You will be missed by all family and friends. lots of love. Lance Dowson

Well Mel, it was an absolute pleasure knowing you. When I do night shifts, I am often looking at your room door, and then the realisation hits me that you are not here with us anymore. Also miss you when I'm doing PM shifts and you're sitting outside your room door waiting for your meds and asking me "what time is dinner". We caregivers at the rest home sometimes reminisce about things you did and said and sometimes have a chuckle. May you Rest in Peace Mel in the arms of God.

Uncle Mel, I remember the great talks we had about the old days and the family history. The kids remember you showing them your amazing woodwork and we treasure the little mementoes we have of your awesome craft. Gone to be with your beautiful family at long last, and say hi to my dad, your brother Wayne.
